Rise Up: Ieshia

Ieshia Evans, a nurse attending her first protest, was a picture of calm as police in riot gear arrested her during a Black Lives Matter protest in Baton Rouge, LA. A photo of her being arrested went viral, drawing worldwide attention to the issue of excessive police force against members of the Black community.
